A few days ago, 16-year-old climate activist Greta Thunberg gave a powerful speech at the UN Climate Action Summit in New York and several Bollywood celebrities such as Priyanka Chopra, Alia Bhatt lent their support to her. Now, Kangana Ranaut’s sister Rangoli Chandel took a dig at Priyanka stating that there are several others working for the environment and they should be supported too!

Just two days ago, a 16-year-old climate activist Greta Thunberg’s fiery speech at the UN Climate Action Summit went viral on all social media platforms. The young girl fired legit questions at the world leaders and also put porth her concerns about the effects of climate change. The passionate speech took the Internet by storm and several Bollywood stars such as Priyanka Chopra, Alia Bhatt, Shraddha Kapoor, Kajol, Ajay Devgn,  Varun Dhawan came out in support of Greta Thunberg and shared clips from her speech on their social media.

Priyanka Chopra was moved by her speech and shared the clips on her social media. In her Tweet, the actress also thanked Greta Thunberg and wrote, “Thank you @gretathunberg for giving us the much-needed punch in the face, for bringing your generation together and showing us that we need to know better, do more to save what is most critical. At the end of the day, we only have this one planet. #HowDareYou.” While fans of the actress were all praises for her joining in this cause, looks like it didn’t go down well with Kangana Ranaut’s sister Rangoli Chandel and she took to Twitter to call out the actress. Her Tweet read, “Dear PC nice to have u back, Yes this young woman is doing great work, magar hamare desh mein bhi bahut log tan man dhan se environment keliye kaam kar rahe hain,sirf lecture nahin de rahe results laa rahe hain... unkeliye bhi kabhi kuch payaar ke shabd bol dijiye...acha lagega.”

 Apart from Bollywood celebrities Priyanka Chopra, Shraddha Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan,  several Hollywood celebrities such as Leonardo DiCaprio, Chirs Hemsworth, Joe Jonas, Billie Eilish, Shawn Mendes, Mark Ruffalo too lent their support to Greta Thunberg.
